Mallory Pugh is one of the youngest womens soccer stars to make an appearance for the United States Womens Soccer Team at only 17 years and 269 days old. Mallory’s first appearance for the USWNT was when the replaced veteran Alex Morgan against the Republic of Ireland and also open the scoring card in the same match.
This also makes Mallory the 6th youngest goals scorer in USWNT history. After being selected as the captain of the U20 national team she was also the Golden Ball winner (Best Player) and Golden Boot winner (Most Goals Scored) at the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Women’s Championship in Honduras after leading the U.S. with seven goals and helping it win the regional title and qualify for the U-20 World Cup
